Got woken up by someone singing. I thought someone had turned their radio up too loud. When I opened the van door I realised that it was not coming from a van. It was coming, I thought, from over the river - but no it was coming from the middle of the river! Someone was swimming out in the middle of the river singing at the top of his voice. He must have very strong lungs to be able to do both at the same time. (He did the same every morning I was there. The only songs I could recognise were 'Oh What a Beautiful Morning' and (of course) 'Old Man River').
