Land

This includes all types of landscapes, and different geological formations.

Mountains and cliffs can be tricky photographic subjects - they're too big! Mountains can be used as backdrops to add interest to a scene, or as the main subject. I'm not into mountain climbing but I do enjoy walking up mountains. Significant difference. Rocks, either as part of the coastline or mountain ranges, can make interesting photos with their dramatic shapes. I'm not really into climbing around in dark, enclosed spaces, but I do enjoy tourist-type cave tours.

Everyone has taken a good sunset photo, but how many have a good sunrise photo? I tend to not go looking for sunset photos as they're too common, but sometimes I can't resist. I like sunrise photos, it's just a shame it happens so early in the morning.
