Standley Chasm

Situated 50 km west of Alice Springs, Standley Chasm, named after Ida Standley, a former Alice Springs school teacher, is best seen at midday, when the sun lights up the walls. My visit was mid-afternoon, and as camping is not allowed, I had to move on. I need to go back at a more suitable time and get some better shots. Not happy about the $7.50 entrance fee.
