Beach

There are a number of beaches around Stanley, with one beach right alongside the caravan park, providing plenty of photo opportunities.

The tide goes out about 100 metres, so at low tide there's always lots of sand to walk on and lots of interesting stuff on the beach: seaweed, interesting patterns in the sand, a multitude of seashells and rock pools, and also allows millions of crabs to come out of their hiding holes.

At high or low tide there's quite often small fish in the water, there's always a variety of sea birds - silver gulls, pacific gulls, lapwings, oyster catchers.
