Port Lincoln, named by Matthew Flinders after his home in Lincolnshire, England, is 650km by road from Adelaide, or 250km if you want to get wet! The town overlooks Boston Bay and Boston Island and is a popular destination for tourists who use the town as a base to explore the rest of the Eyre Peninsula.
