Limestone Coast/South East

Not much to say about the area - I lived there for 20 years so I have difficulty seeing it as a tourist destination!

The biggest town in the region is Mount Gambier, with its famous Blue Lake (visit from December-February or you'll be disappointed by the colour).

The Coonawarra wine region is one of Australia's best. I've always intended doing a winery tour, but I need to find a driver!

The coast road from Mount Gambier to Adelaide, essentially a continuation of the Great Ocean Road, is worthy of exploring.
