Mount Sonder Lookout

This is a lookout that looks across the plains to the ranges with good views OF Mount Sonder, not a lookout ON Mount Sonder. The mountain is 1380 metres above sea level and was named after German botanist Wilhelm Otto Sonder.

The lookout would be ideal for photos early in the morning, with the sun shining on the mountain. There's no camping here, but Glen Helen resort is very close by.
