Anzac Hill

Anzac Hill is located in the centre of Alice Springs. There is a sealed road to the top, or take a short walk, for good views of the town and the MacDonnell Ranges -particularly at sunrise and sunset.

The hill was named in 1934 to commemorate soldiers killed in World War I, there was a large military presence nearby in World War II, and is now used for Anzac Day and RSL services.

It is a sacred site for local Aborigines.
