Alligator Gorge Ring Route Hike

All walks combined from Alligator Gorge - a total of 9km (4 hours). Follows the full length of Alligator Gorge and through The Terraces and The Narrows. Ideal for wildflowers in spring.

A fantastic walk.

The walk across the floor of the gorge is easy, with a number of creek crossings.

The creek flowing over the terraces was good for photos - not quite waterfalls but running water is always good.

A steep climb from the bottom of the gorge to the ring route track revealed many wildflowers along the path so it took me a long time.

Then relentlessly downhill (not good for the knees!) to Blue Gum Flat.

Easy walk from there back to the car park, via the Narrows. Aptly named - can just about touch both sides of the gorge.
