If you're a photographer, you can make money from your website, all you need are a plan and the right tools and information to help you implement that plan.
As with anything else in life you need to know where you are, where you want to go, what you need to do to get there and have a plan to do it.
Many photographers have their own website, some are making money, but most are not. Research what is working for other photographers right now, look at what other people are trying, and get some ideas of where it's all headed.
You don't need to be an expert to create a website, with the right tools anyone can do it as long as you know what you want to do and what is possible. You need the right tools to create your website -- software, graphics, templates. There are lots of specialist software programs available.
To sell your photos, photography services or related products you need to have an understanding of marketing -- you need to know who your likely customers are and have a plan to sell your products to them. You can use affiliates to help sell your products, or perhaps become an affiliate yourself and sell other people's products from your site. You don't want to spend all day looking at your screen, so you need to create passive revenue streams and to automate your sales process.
Once you have your website set up you need to drive traffic to that site. The greatest website in the world won't make a cent if you don't get people to visit your site. You need to be able to generate new leads and sales.
You may need a training package, and there are many written tutorials as well as audio and video options available on the Internet.
Here's a package that will give you all the resources you need to make your website profitable.
